Private Company seeks an intellectual and highly talented Chief Finance Officer in the New York City area to provide direct support to CEO and President and assume a strategic role in the overall management of the company. The chosen candidate will have extensive experience in the hospitality industry managing different edges of it. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Experienced in multi-entity management; Construction management; Retail management; Hospitality management.
  • Manage the current accounting staff for Parking Operation, Real Estate and Family Office; manage in house operations and third party operations.
  • Establish financial operational strategies to warrant all deadlines are met and full advantage is taken with tax effectiveness.
  • Monitor cash balances, cash forecast and investment funds; Provide annual budget and cash flow reports for each major asset class.
  • Participate actively as one of the key leaders in the organization to help develop and execute corporate Hospitality strategies and provide hands-on support wherever/ whenever necessary
  • Provide annual budgeting and cash flow projections for each major asset class.
  • Represent the company with third party financial managers, banks, real estate tax professionals and accounting firm; Develop tax strategy for various types of holdings and investments.
  • Generate and present financial reports to The Family Board on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
  • Provide business savvy references and interactions on a daily basis to help generate family wealth and generational income.
  • Ensure company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements
  • Assess and produce financial models for Real Estate and Business transactions.
  • Key member of the professional team to provide wealth management stability through life events and continuity across generations.


Requirements

  • Excellent references required from current and previous employers
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience responsible for Major Company or Division of large Corporation
  • 4-year Degree from an Accredited College or University as well as a Master’s Degree in Accounting / Business Administration
  • 2 years of experience working in the Accounting Industry
  • Experienced partnering with an Executive Team
  • High level of communication skills; Oral and written
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills and present a professional image both in person and over the phone
  • NYC Real Estate knowledge
  • Tax experienced and knowledgeable

  • Ability to take initiative and ownership of projects and see through to completion
